I love what it does for my lashes . But mascara is a highly subjective choice so find one you love . I ’ ve had good luck with L ’ Oreal as well . But please don ’ t buy waterproof ! You ’ ll pull half your lashes out trying to get it off .

For the biggest party nights , invest in some great faux lashes . If you are too squeamish to apply them yourself , many beauty retailers will be glad to apply them for you for a small fee — either a whole strip or individual lashes . This is a great way to dress up your face without a ton of product . Best of all , they look great in photos . Trim them to fit your eye length and use tinted adhesive if you are doing them yourself .

LEGS Bare winter skin needs a bit of help around the holidays . I love Sally Hansen ’ s Airbrush Legs . It is such a bargain product that truly makes your legs look more even toned and smooth . If you want a more of a J . Lo glow or you have deeper skin , try St . Tropez ’ s One Night Only Instant Glow Body Lotion . It looks scary coming out of the tube but it delivers a believable looking tan .

NAILS I love unexpected colors on nails , even during the holidays . On the toes , I am loving shades of grey , like dove-toned Nars ’ Galathee or Essie ’ s Power Clutch , a deeper charcoal with green undertones . These shades look great with metallic or black party sandals . n
