Papillon d ’ Or en route pour les Oscars
Nouvelle heure de gloire pour le cinéma tunisien à l ’ étranger ! « Papillon d ’ Or », dernier long métrage du réalisateur Abdelhamid Bouchnak , représentera la Tunisie lors de la 94e cérémonie des Oscars . Sélectionné dans la catégorie du Meilleur Film International , « Papillon d ’ Or » est le deuxième long métrage tunisien à concourir à la fameuse Cérémonie des Oscars , succédant à la nomination en 2021 du film « L ’ Homme qui a vendu sa peau » de Kaouther Ben Hania . Sorti en novembre dernier dans les salles de cinéma tunisiennes , « Papillon d ’ Or » est une fiction inspirée d ’ une histoire vraie . Elle raconte le voyage fantastique de Moez , policier au passé obscur et d ’ un enfant à qui on a diagnostiqué une perte de vue progressive . Entre rêves et réalité , le film traite avec beaucoup de tendresse des traumatismes de l ’ enfance qui hantent les victimes tout au long de leur vie pour délivrer un vibrant message sur l ’ amour et le pardon . Oscars 2022 : “ Golden Butterfly ”, by Abdelhamid Bouchnak selected to represent Tunisia
Tunisian cinema is having its heyday beyond our borders , again ! “ Golden Butterfly ” ( Papillon d ’ Or in French ), the latest feature film by director Abdelhamid Bouchnak , will represent Tunisia at the 94th Academy Awards . Selected in the category of Best International Film , “ Golden Butterfly ” is the second Tunisian feature film to compete at the famous Oscar Ceremony . In 2020 , Tunisia received its first Oscar nomination with Kaouther Ben Hania ’ s The Man Who Sold His Skin . Released last November in Tunisian cinemas , “ Golden Butterfly ” is a fiction inspired by a true story . It tells the fantastic journey of Moez , a police officer with a dark past , and a child who was diagnosed with progressive vision loss . Between dreams and reality , the film deals with the childhood traumas that haunt victims throughout their lives with great tenderness , delivering a vibrant message about love and forgiveness .
