On a hot summer afternnon , TAGM Model Search held a casting call for their annual fashion model showcase . Many models showed up , hoping to be selected for a chance to be featured in this production . For years , TAGM presented live fashion shows but when the pandemic hit , this arose the idea of pre-recording the shows . This concept later turned into fashion video shoots .
Angela Benitez , CEO & Program Director and Teresa Alvarez , Creative Director saw the positive response in this change . For the 5th annual fashion showcase , the pair decided it was time for something new , something refreshing , but also fashionable and recognizable . " We wanted to pay homage to iconic fashion trends that have never left us . Every generation had style to remember and we wanted to put our own spin on it . Surprisingly , it was easy to find inspired clothing for each year . These iconic trends continue to be part of today ' s fashion ."
