learning what your association is doing for you or
shaping the direction of the organization from a seat on a
committee or an advisory group.

PDA’s plans and initiatives? Plan to
attend PDA’s Business Meeting on
the afternoon of Saturday, April 6 at
The Gettysburg Hotel. The Business
Meeting is held annually as part of
Pennsylvania’s Dental Meeting.
The meeting schedule includes an update on PDA’s
legislative agenda at 1:30 p.m., followed by:
• An overview of PDA’s finances and the shareholders
meeting for Bell/PDAIS (PA Dental Association
Insurance Services).
• Town Hall Open Forum to exchange ideas and hear
members’ concerns.

the sessions on Saturday morning:
8:00 a.m. to Noon – Drugs and Supplements Affecting
Patient Care presented by Dr. Richard Wynn, or
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Volunteer Dental Projects, a
complimentary program presented by Francis G. Serio and
co-sponsored by the USA Sections of the International
College of Dentists and Academy of Dentistry International.
And, join the PDA Board of Trustees and your
colleagues from across the state at the Welcome
Reception, sponsored in part by the Pennsylvania
Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, on Friday,
April 5 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
