What I ’ m most proud of is the Volunteer License Bill , because the prime sponsor was a Democrat and asked a Republican to sponsor , and the importance of the bill – it was kind of in response to Hurricane Sandy and so emergency preparedness allows us now to have volunteer licenses , but also allows us to have treating docs at our Missions of Mercy . What I like about this particular bill was that the importance of the legislation and our work with both parties made this not be a partisan issue , but something for the good of the people in the Commonwealth .
