Pennsylvania Budget Impasse
Pennsylvania currently finds itself to be in an interesting predicament. We are now three months into 2016, and the legislature has yet to approve a state budget for the 2015-2016 fiscal year. Given the current political climate, it does not seem as though there will be a resolution anytime soon. So what exactly does this mean for dental related programs that rely on state funding? The good news is that even with the budget impasse, key programs such as Donated Dental Services and the Primary Healthcare Practitioner Loan Repayment Program currently appear as though they will not be impacted and will continue to operate as normal.
