Receptors are the eyes and ears of your Brain and Nerves; they are located in muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, connective tissue, organs and skin. Receptors sense changes in the body such as inflammation, pressure, tension, spasms and pain. This information travels from the Receptor along the Nerves to the body’s control center; the Brain. The Brain receives and evaluates this Receptor information and sends corrective orders back to the body through the Nerves. When Receptors fail to provide this vital information to the Brain, it has no information to “think” with and so Function is lost and Stress is placed on Nerves, Muscles, Organs Joints and Bones. Bowenwork Therapy is different than other therapies. Other therapies attempt to achieve Function by treating the muscles, joints and bones directly, and “enforce” Function Breast Care with in Mind You Community-based Education, Prevention, Detection and Care Coordination. • DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY • ULTRASOUND • STEREOTACTIC BIOPSY • BREAST MRI An on-site Patient Navigator will assist patients diagnosed with breast cancer, no matter where they are receiving care.
