Home Expo Well Attended
Business was humming at the Home, Health and Lifestyles
Expo on Sept. 12 and 13. Over 176 vendors and exhibitors
came together at the Prescott Valley Event Center to connect
with the 4500 community members and residents that attended
looking for assistance and business contacts for their “Fall”
home projects. Thank you to YCCA and the Daily Courier
for an exceptional partnership for this great event and to our
volunteers from AARP, Bradshaw Mountain High School and
of course our great staff!
Coming up on October 19 at the Prescott Valley Event Center
is a Job Fair hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, Goodwill
Industries and Yavapai College in partnership with Congressman
Gosar’s office. Here is an opportunity for job seekers to meet
with many different employers and get valuable resources.
There is no charge to attend and there will be computers for
online applications and information.
Join all the boys and “ghouls” at the annual Safe Trick or Treat
on Saturday, October 31 at the PV Event Center. Trick or
Treating hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. and there will be a haunted
house and other “things that go Bump in the Night!” This
event is sponsored by the Prescott Valley Early Bird Lions
Club, Arizona Business League and the Prescott Valley Event
Center.
The Chamber would like to welcome new members: One Stop
Party Shop, Caring Presence, Canyon State Oil, Russ Lyon
Sotheby’s International Realty, Franklin Phonetic Primary
School and Southwest Event Design Co.
