PGCC WOMEN ’ S GOLF NEWS
Hello , MAY !
MAY may be the best month yet to get out and play golf with our friends . Just thinking …. every day may not be good , but there is always something good in every day , and the same goes with every round of golf we play . Last month had many great games and better weather at last , so here are some scores and our WINNERS !
Marge Simpson played for 1st place on 3 / 17 when we played Better Nine ½ Handicap . She shot a 32.5 . Judy Cotterall shot a 33 for 2nd place and Lyn Egenberger took 3rd with a 36 .
Donna Wallace ( Flight A ) took 1st with a 35 when we played T-O-E ½ Handicap on 3 / 22 . Bobbi McDonald took 2nd with a 36 . In Flight B the winner was Lyn Egenberger with a 31 and Nora Barlow with a 34.5 came in 2nd .
“ U Pick ‘ em ” was the game for 3 / 24 and Marge Simpson ( A ) took 1st place with a 35.5 followed by Roxie Schmit with a 38 for 2nd place . In Flight ( B ) there was a 1st place tie for Barb Brown and Nora Barlow coming in at 36.5 . Ronnie Wetzel ( C ) took 1st with a 35.5 and Sue Hale took 2nd with a 36.5 .
Roxie Schmit ( A ) came in 1st with 32 when we played Low Putts on 3 / 31 followed by a tie for 2nd with 34 putts for Bobbi McDonald and Barb Brown . The winner in Flight B was Ronnie Wetzel with 32 putts and 2nd place went to Dee Wolfe with 37 putts .
Barb Brown ( A ) took 1st place with a 39 when we played Field Shots on 4 / 5 . Melanie Bridges and Donna Wallace tied for second with 41 . A tie for 1st in Flight B went to Ronnie Wetzel and Lyn Egenberger both with a 41 .
Two Person Teams was fun when we played on 4 / 7 , and with a score of 147 there was a tie for 1st place in Flight A ; Barb Brown and Roxie Schmit as well as Sandy Gilderoy and Sue Hale were our team winners ! In Flight B the winning team with a 142 was Catherine Forthum and Vicki Trillo . Lyn Egenberger and Dee Wolfe came in 2nd with a 143 .
Barbara Brown was our Quail winner on 4 / 12 !!! Roxie Schmit ( A ) took 1st place with a 76 , and Vicki Trillo Came in 2nd with a 77 .
I n flight B Barb Brown took 1st with a 71 and Marcia Lafayette took 2nd with a 73 .
Bobbie McDonald ( A ) took first place with a 40 when we played Middle Nine on 4 / 14 . Melanie Bridges came in 2nd with a 40.5 . In Flight B , Barb Brown came in 1st with a 33 and Judy Cotterall took 2nd with a 38.5 .
