The Dewey-Humboldt IONS group will meet on
Tuesday, June 6: 10:30am -12:30pm at the Dewey/
Humboldt Library. The group will be continuing their
exploration of sound healing. A Taoist film will be
presented on how sound and energy holds can help to
keep the body healthy and vibrant. We will practice
these techniques and explore other avenues of sound
healing. IONS meetings are open to everyone with all
points of view. Visitors are welcome!
Peak Business Class-Training Employees
Are you looking for a new way to train your employees?
Prescott Valley Public Library is hosting a free Training
Employees Workshop on Tuesday June 20 from 5:00
-7:45p.m. Discover a unique academic take on train-
ing employees and volunteers. Participants will apply
teaching techniques to business training, including adult
learning principles, instructional methods, and on-the-
job applications. Topics addressed are learning style
analysis, instructional process, writing a syllabus and
job aid, student behaviors, and mentoring. This class
uses an interactive format including small and large
group projects. As a final exercise, participants write
and present a complete training plan.
