US Fans of UK Entertainment, on Saturdays: 10am - Noon. The group’s
goal is to enjoy, share, and discuss British entertainment. In June,
the group will continue to take a trip back in time by viewing and
discussing classic Doctor Who stories from the 1980’s. We will wrap
up the 7th Doctor’s (Sylvester McCoy’s) era with his last four stories
from 1989. Take a nostalgic spin with us with this time traveling cult
hit. We will have refreshments on hand!
The Dewey-Humboldt IONS group meet on Tuesday, June 2: 10:30am12:30pm. Guest presenter Linda Kavak of Symphonic Harmonies
(www.symphoncharmonies.com) will discuss how sounds and
vibrations can help disperse pain and to help heal the body. A live
demonstration of the techniques will be shown. The IONS meetings
are open to everyone with all points of view. Visitors are welcome!

The library’s Book Discussion Group has its monthly meeting on a
Tuesday, June 9: 9:30-10:45am. They are reading Left Neglected by
Lisa Genova for this month. The book centers on the character Sarah
Nickerson, a successful business woman, devoted wife, and mother
of three, who suffers a traumatic brain injury that leaves her unable to
perceive anything that is on her left side. The book follows her life as
she struggles to cope with her new handicap. The library has copies
of the book available for checkout. So, come in to pick up a copy of
the book, and then come for the discussion. Light refreshments will
be served

The Minutes for the March meeting were reviewed and approved.
Treasurer’s Report
Expense for Past President Plaque $8.00. A balance is now $239.13 was reported
and approved.

Randall’s will no longer be serving breakfast. Beginning on June 1st new business
hour will be; Tuesday- Saturday 11am-8pm, Sundays 10am-7pm and closed on
Monday’s.
Practice area irrigation heads need attention to eliminate excessive water in trap
and low lying areas.
A safety issue had been brought forward, that golf cart street crossings should be
marked. Jeff Hall will look into painting markings on streets between holes #7-8,
#15-16 and #17-18.
Perry Hedstrom (Social chairman) Couples golf will be available two times a month
through October with dinner at Randall’s after each tournament. Dates and times are
listed on the locker room bulletin board.
Jeff Hall is investigating entertainment possibilities for a possible 4th of July or
summer celebration.
