PV Chamber Report Happy New Year Everyone! The holidays are behind us and now it is time to refocus on business and improving our economy. We have many opportunities in January for starting the new year off with a positive business focus and great economic prospects. Join us January 12 for our annual Economic Update at our Quarterly Breakfast at the Prescott Club in StoneRidge at 7 a.m. This program is always informative and our presenters very knowledgeable in not only the local economy but statewide and nationally. We sell out quickly so make your reservations now. A flyer is included in this newsmagazine. Tickets are $15 for chamber members and $18 for the general public. Reservations can be made by calling Gloria at 772-8857. Our 10th Business Academy class begins on January 27. This eight week business education course has received high praise from past participants for its very complete curriculum on business basics. There is still time to register so contact Marnie for details and information. Kicking off our Business after Hours programs is the Residence Inn Marriott and Cork and Cuisine co-hosting on January 20. The mixers have been moved to Wednesday evenings as a result of comments and suggestions by our business members. Mixers are held at 5 p.m. and there is not charge to attend. Guests are welcome to come and check us out.
