Great News for Homeless Pets   We are proud to announce the creation of a new dog and cat rescue, AARF ANIMAL RESCUE AND SANCTUARY.  Liz Stegmeir, who managed the Circle L Ranch dog rescue for seven years and is well- known and highly regarded in the rescue community, is heading up this new organization.     AARF will be a 501c3 non-profit and is located off Hwy 69 at Poland Junction Road.  A beautiful 10 acre property has been anonymously donated to AARF and a generous benefactor will match all donations made by July 1st up to $10,000.  Dogs and cats from overcrowded shel- ters will be saved and made ready for adoption to loving forever homes.  This new rescue will be staffed by volunteers and supported through tax-deductible donations and grants.   We are asking for help from the community to get started.  Please see our Facebook AARF Animal Rescue for our wish list and other infor- mation.  We also would welcome volunteers with various skill sets,  If you love animals and want to save lives, this is the place to be.   For volunteer, donation help or any other information you may con- tact Liz at [email protected].  “Saving One by One Until There Are None.” Submitted by Luann Herbert, Volunteer , [email protected] pccnews  August 2018  5
