Many games, raffles and a fun time for all will be in Humboldt that day. The Historical Society is also very pleased to announce the winner of the admission button contest for the Aqua Fria/Old West day event which was held at various schools in the area. The response was amazing and with so many great drawings to choose from made it difficult to pick the 1st place winner. The winner is Samuel Gordan who is a student at Bradshaw Mountain Middle School. The Dewey-Humboldt Historical Society wants to thank all who participated and the art teachers who made it possible. Admission buttons for the Aqua Fria Festival and Old West Days will be available at local businesses and at the D_H Museum. Look to buy your buttons for you and your family the middle of August. Before the event the Button will for $1, the day of the event will be $2. This is a fundraising event for the Dewey-Humboldt Historical Society and helps to keep the Museum alive.
