WHAT TO DO ABOUT WEEDS POA Guidelines
Yes , it is weed season again . With the weather warming and the moisture coming in we will have these nasty weeds problems again this year . The goal of the POA is to keep our beautiful Country Club , beautiful . Nothing is more upsetting than to keep your yard clean and weed free only to see your neighborʼs yard FULL of weeds . The wind starts blowing and then here come all those weed seeds . Our CC & RʼS state : “ WEEDS OVER 12 ” HIGH OR MORE ARE IN VIOLATION ”. Additionally there is a county-wide ordinance ; 97-2 stating : PROPERTY OWNERS ARE TO MAINTAIN THEIR PROPERTY FREE OF WEEDS . Your property goes all the way to the roadway to include all drainages that abut your property , this includes the drainage ditches . We as an association want all the properties to look their best and want all of our members to be proud to live here in the PRESCOTT COUNTRY CLUB . We can do this with all your help . If you have a neighbor that is not taking care of their property please come and see Marge at the office and fill out a WEED form . She will request a board member pass the property to verify the complaint . If the complaint is valid , we will contact that neighbor ( not using you name ) and ask them to take care of it . PEAK Business Class-3D Printing In this series we will talk about the current state of 3D Printing , what hardware and software is available , how to create basic CAD ( computer aided design ) models , and how to operate 3D printers and their software . Students will leave having learned how to design a simple part in Autodesk 123D Design , how to use the Cura 3D printing software , and the operation of a MakerBot Mini 3D printer . Students should know the metric measurement systems and have average computer usage skills . Monday , April 3 , 4 & 6 5-7 pm Prescott Valley Public Library Glassford Hill Room
“ How to Die in Oregon ” Join us for the second program in the PVPLʼs Series on End of Life Topics with a screening of the “ How to Die in Oregon ” documentary , followed by an ethics discussion with Yavapai College Philosophy Professor , Aaron Rizzieri . This program will take place on Wednesday , April 5th from 5-7:30pm in the Prescott Valley Public Libraryʼs Auditorium ( 7401 E . Civic Circle ). In the documentary , filmmaker Peter Richardson examines both sides of the complex , emotionally-charged issue on lethal overdose . What emerges is a life-affirming , staggeringly powerful portrait of what it means to die with dignity . No registration is required — call 928-759-6188 with any questions !
