North County Section’s
The North County Section is accepting letters of recommendations for its 17th annual Jurist of the Year Award.
Send a letter including which local judge you feel deserves to be honored and state why. The recipient will be selected
based upon the following criteria: 1. The judge should be one with an excellent reputation for sound judicial decisions and
an unblemished record. 2. The judge should be recognized by Bar members as highly qualified. 3. The judge should be
active in Bar related activities. 4. He or she should be respectful of the law and understanding of cases.
