PAYZA FRAUD – 4 TYPES YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT
How to Protect Yourself
You do not have to fall victim to any of these scams if you know how to protect yourself
from them. Here are some handy tips:
1. Do not send money to someone you do not know, and sell valuable items locally so that
you can meet the buyer. By following these simple tips, you can save yourself a lot of loss
and grief. If you get an email from someone you don’t know who is asking for money,
don’t send it. If you do know them, call them on the phone first as their email account
may have been hacked.
2. Always check your bill. If there appears to be a purchase made through Payza that you
did not make, contact Payza immediately to have the payment reversed.
3. Do not share your credit card information with anyone. Under no circumstance should
you share your credit card or other sensitive personal information with anyone as you
never know in whose hands that information could land. When making purchases in store,
guard your credit card and PIN from view, and never let your card leave your sight.
