For my essay ill be writting about my experiences on what ive done for my difference maker, what my fund rasier was for and how I made everything work out .My project was on how most countries in affrica are ine poverty at the momment and dont have any access to safe and clean drinking water, why would i choose this? If you considering the following facts like how 663 million people - 1 in 10 lack access to safe water, 2.4 billion people - 1 in 3 - lack access to a toilet, Twice the population of the United States lives without access to safe water, 1/3 of the global population lives without access to a toilet, More people have a mobile phone than a toilet. So basically when you think about it water is a essential need here in north america but we always take forgranted the amount of water we use, a good example of that would be los angeles because at the moment they are having a drought, but compared to the water status in africa that nothing at least the U.S still has clean water whilst africa is coming to a drought aswell as they have no place to get clean water to drink and wash themselves .
How my fundraiser went was ilookeed on line for ideas and a good project i came upon was making paracord brcaelets because at the time many groups were doing the samething which was a bake sale so i thought to my self, making paracord bracelets would be a good way to raise money, considering the fact that no one done that yetl. So i after i had everything planned and bought all the materials, which there was'nt really that much to get other than paracord, lighters, and scissors (which i already had), i then gathered 4 people to help me out, their names were emily , miguel, nicole and logan, and they really helped me by taking measurment
and wrting them done on notes, another way they helped me is by coming to my house on saturdays to pitch in and help out to make the batches of bracelets and over all the sales went pretty well making an outcome of $105.00 which wasnt really that bad considering the price was $3.50 a bracelet.
