1. This volunteer used to race sled dogs.
2. Wrote a grant where their group won 1st prize of 21,000 Madonna condoms. These were distributed while
male volunteers dressed up and lip-synced as Madonna in Lawrence, Kansas.
3. Taught English to two Playboy Playmates, twins from Brazil, at the Playboy Mansion.
4. Yo, whatup. This PCV writes poetry jams and secretly wishes to become a bilingual rapper.
5. Helped train an octopus to open jars of fish.
6. Has a cat named Wesley because “The Princess Bride” is the best movie ever and likes to paint computers
because they are a boring color and more interesting than painting canvas.
7. Served as a web administrator for the Blind Babies Foundation.
8. Got some hot action when a heating unit they were sitting on assaulted them with some crackly sparks and a
small smoldering spot on their jeans.
9. Interned with Clean Water Action in San Francisco.
10. Was known back home as “The Deep Fry Master” and owned their own deep fryer that was used almost on a
daily basis! Also wrote (for a short stint before they left) for a local liberal magazine a Deep Fry Column entitled
"Deep Frying My Way to Freedom" and posed with the said deep fryer wearing nothing but an American Flag!
11. Took a 3-month course for educators on "Myths and Fairytales" in Denmark and Norway their sophomore
year of college; the final project was putting on a puppet show.
12. Spent the summer of 2004 in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
13. Was a camp director for a circus camp where they juggled and cut a volunteer into three pieces and put them
back together again.
14. Has lived in a tree house on the gulf of Thailand.

17. For two summers took an ox training course at Tiller's International in Kalamazoo, Michigan with people

19. This left-handed PCV is currently a student at Colorado State University, and loves to play soccer.
