P a g e 1 1 Since I got back to school on the 8th of March, I coincided my Peace Corps 45th Anniversary celebration with that of International Women’s Day. The colleagues enjoyed the flowers, gifts, and homemade carrot cake along with some information and samples of work I’d been doing with my students. I had donated a set of Britannica Encyclopedias for the school, watched the Kindergarteners put on a program for their Moms (their teachers also enjoyed some carrot cake.), and I had a good discussion with the kitchen staff as I ate breakfast. (They liked the carrot cake too.) It ended up being one of the longest pauzas between classes we had. Ok, so we were a little late.
