Albania may not have been number one on your list of places to visit before
you came to Macedonia, but now that you’ e here, I suggest all Macedonia PCVs

consider visiting our neighbor to the west. But “Greece!” you protest, “T
urkey!”
“Croatia!” All beautiful places worth visiting… but they know it, which means crowds,
lines, and prices that are not so PCV-budget friendly. Albania, on the other hand, is in a
period of transition and still has not broken into the international tourism scene. That means lower
prices, less crowded beaches, and a greater appreciation for Western tourists, especially Americans.
