Knitting with Nesser
So there are quite a
few knitters among the volunteers in Macedonia. I
thought perhaps you would
enjoy some tips, patterns,
and general inspiration from
time to time.

Designed by Barbara Breiter - significantly adapted
by Vanessa Perry (there is a
similar pattern in the Stitch
and Bitch book, but I think
this is one simpler and more
flexible.)
Cozies protect your
electronics from scratches
and insults. They're also a
fun fashion statement! They
are quick and simple to knit
from small amounts of leftover yarn. You can be really
creative with this pattern:
use fun yarns, add designs,
or make a bunch and send
them home as gifts!

You can adjust the size to fit
whatever you are knitting

to knit a “scarf” 2-4 inches
wide and about 12 inches
long.

Materials:
What ever yarn you have,
and what ever needles you

Instructions:

want facing out) together.

*For example*: the cozy I
use for my camera is 15
stitches across, knitted on
size 7 US needles (size
4.5mm locally) with a thin
yarn.
Once you get the right
width, knit until you have
just enough length to wrap
the to-be-cozied-electronic

inches). Then reduce two
stitches on each side and
continue for another 2-3
inches. This smaller part
