mostbeautifulhouses,with an equallyamazing backdrop thatIhad everseen.I
wasin aweofsuch abuilding,and couldn’thelp buttryto comprehend whatlife
would belikeliving in thishouse.Itreallydid takemybreath away!
Thejourneytakesaround 3to 4hours,and yesitisa
slow process.Ifyourin ahurry,then grab another
transportoption,however,ifyou wantto seeanother
sideto Thailand,then thisisdefinitelytheoption to
choose!Asweheaded towardsBangkokitwasclear
wewereentering thesuburban lifestyleasmoreand
morecommercialbuildingsappeared,itwasasifthey
wereputon theoutskirtsto defend thecityfrom
invasion.Oneofthemostmemorableimageswaswatching thetracksidehouses
scurrying around pulling backtheirroofstructuresto avoid thetrain dragging them
along.Itwasobviouslyaverywellpracticed routineand onethatwasexecuted to
inch precision!
With onlyan hourto go beforewearrived atour
destination,thetrain meandered through thebusy
streetsofBangkok.Schoolchildren and office
workersclambered aboard to maketheirwayhome.
Thetrafficstacked up asweslowlypassed byon our
journey.Mountainsofconcreteoverlooked uswith
thesemonstrousbuildingspeering down atus,we
musthaveappeared likealittlesnakeweaving it’s
waythrough thestreets.Onesurprisewas
passengersclimbing on thetrain from oneside,then
walking straightouttheothersideto carryon their
journeys,itwasasifthetrain wasn’teven there.It
wasastrangeconceptto seepeoplejustcasually
climb on and off,Iguessitisjustthewayitis,unlike
backin Europe!
ieventuallyarrived atourdestination and itwas
timeto saygoodbye.Ithad been amemorable
journeyand oneIwould happilyrepeatagain
withouthesitation.So,nexttimeyou need to head
to thebig cityand timeisofno relevance,climb
aboard and enjoyareallyspecialand interesting
journey!
