She is so much prettier than me And I ' m not talking about any kind of pretty She is just , wow She is the type of girl any guy would be lucky to have The one people always stare at And I ' m just little old me With my little old self Wandering around not knowing what to do with my life It shouldn ’ t be this hard Throw some makeup on Do your hair Dress nice It shouldn ’ t be hard I think Yet , it is To look in the mirror and watch it shatter every time To feel like you can ’ t breathe in clothes that aren ’ t even tight To where you think you ' re eating too much when you ' re really eating too little I ' m not trying hard enough they say but deep down I feel like my world ’ s about to collapse It ' s all worth it though Because the thought of being pretty is worth it .
