The Little Miracles Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth was written by the Mount Carmel
maternity staff to be a resource for you during your journey into motherhood. It includes
a month-by-month checklist for pregnancy to help you get ready for the birth and care of
your baby. We will alternate calling your baby “he” or “she.”
The Little Miracles Guide to Pregnancy and Childbirth is not a substitute for your
obstetrician (OB doctor) or midwife. Prenatal care is absolutely essential for your own
and your baby’s good health.
If you do not have a doctor, Mount Carmel HealthCALL can help you fi nd one.
