• We strongly encourage students who have a disability to communicate their needs to us and use our services .
• NWTC Case Managers work with high school students who have disabilities and high school staff to help students as they transition to NWTC .
• Visits are made to district high schools , when requested .
The Northeast Wisconsin School of Innovation ( N . E . W .) is a public charter school within Green Bay Area Public Schools ( GBAPS ), serving students grades 7-12 . Northeast Wisconsin Technical College ( NWTC ) and GBAPS partner to ensure strong vocational education by incorporating career pathways into learning experiences .
Since fall 2022 , N . E . W . School of Innovation has been located on NWTC ’ s Green Bay Campus . This collaboration provides N . E . W . students with a unique opportunity to engage in competency-based education while exploring career options from NWTC faculty .
Partnership highlights :
• Students in grades 10 through 12 are eligible to enroll in dual credit courses and early career exploration programs to facilitate the planning of their post-graduation career paths .
• Students in grades 7 through 9 have opportunities to explore career pathways through hands-on activities throughout the school year .
• The N . E . W . Academy offers an alternative graduation pathway for GBAPS seniors . The Academy provides personalized learning plans tailored to each student based on their transcript .
