WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS? WHO IS MOST AT RISK?
The symptoms of COVID-19 are similar to other
respiratory illnesses, including the flu and common cold. According to the BC Centre for Disease
Control, older adults and those with chronic
health conditions, including diabetes, heart
disease and lung disease, are at higher risk
of developing severe illness or complications
from COVID-19.
Symptoms include:
• coughing
• sneezing
• fever
• sore throat
• difficulty breathing
