Carolina Narita- MAC 3 Born in 1936 at Alabama, Clarence Carter is a record producer,songwriter and musician that sings blues and soul. In 1970,he released one of his most famous and world-renowned song ''Patches''that talks about his childhood in his farm at Alabama and how hard was to take care of his family after his dad passed away and let all the responsibility as a man to keep the family through. He was thinking about quit school,but his mom say that it was Daddy's strictest rule,so he continue to study and work the fields to get his meals. On the age of 13,he felt overpressure,like he was carrying the weight of the world on his shoulder and thought that he couldn't go on and almost run away from home, but he keeps remembering what his Daddy said at his dying bed. Patches is splendid,is more than a simple song, is culture for all ages.
