Lighthouse Park
500 CAPTAIN ARMOUR ’ S WAY , JUPITER
In the shadow of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse , this park features a wide range of outdoor activities with its playground , picnic area , snorkel beach , athletic fields for soccer and football as well as tennis and pickleball courts . The two cannons and anchor located on the site are from the San Miguel El Archangel shipwreck , a Spanish treasure ship that sank off the Jupiter Inlet in a storm in 1660 .

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area
500 CAPTAIN ARMOURS WAY , JUPITER
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area was federally designated by Congress in May 2008 in order to protect the lighthouse and 120 + surrounding acres of sensitive habitat . The ONA designation is just one of 10 in the United States , and the only such designation east of the Mississippi River . In 2021 , a living shoreline and public pier were constructed along the southern shore .
