THE PRICE OF BEAUTY.
My entire young adult life ever since I can remember I have struggled with the ethical issues that surround our world. For years, questions have hindered every decision I make, and I have hoped that my actions would not only make a difference, but also encourage others to do the same. For instance, how should I feel about eating meat? Can I buy this cute leather belt, even though I know where it comes from? Or, should I purchase my favourite Chanel foundation, despite the fact that it has been imported thousands of miles? There is a faceoff between these ethical issues and temptation for me on a daily basis. The question is: do I sit by and hope that our world will change for the better, or do I strive to be an active participant in changing it?
