People don’t remember what you said, but they will always remember how you made them feel.
Since January 2013, I have visited hundreds of high-end private clubs, interviewed thousands of department heads, consulted with some of the finest clubs in the country and have created a library of over 350 best-practices. And the top three things I have learned during the last five years are;
1. Club managers are interested in wellness but most do not take the time to develop a strategy so they rely on their department heads which creates silos instead of collaboration.
2. Every club manager wants a few good ideas that are easy to understand, easy to execute and effective with improving the member experience.
3. It takes a village to create a culture of wellness and every strong leader has great people that support the vision and are passionate about what they do.
When humans receive an award, the body releases Dopamine (a feeling of accomplishment) and Serotonin (a feeling of pride and status and self-confidence). These chemical reactions create a "feeling" of euphoria or happiness. And let’s face it, we could all use more happiness in our lives!
We are in the happiness business and it’s about time these selfless trail-blazers, innovators and early-adopters are recognized for their contributions in wellness and most importantly the impact their efforts have on the member experience, recruitment, retention and usage.
PASSION recognizes eight category winners each month for their passion, creativity and their efforts that improve the lives and health of members, the staff and the community.

which monthly winner
will be crowned the

will receive a 3-day all

of the America’s Healthiest
Clubs approved Wellness Academies.
