I invested all I had mentally and physically and it paid off! Photo: Shannon Brinkman Photography How does a typical day go for you now? A typical day starts at 7:00am on my first horse. I have 12 horses in training year round. My assistant trainer/barn manager Jessica Kozel has 2 of her own which brings the count up to 14. I basically ride and teach until 5:00pm and then it’s off to the gym 2 days a week (Tues. and Thurs.) to have my trainer strengthen my core & upper body! Then I head home for a home cooked meal provided by my wonderful man Cass Riese. I then sit and decompress for a moment watching TV with Cass before I head to the shower and finally to bed early as my alarm goes off at 4:45am. I live 40mins from the barn.
