Can you tell me about his personality? Parcival’s character is actually his best trait. He is extremely trainable, and always mindful. At the shows he can go to the jog or the warm-up without worrying about other stallions or mares around — he knows the difference between work and breeding. I think Carlos had a lot to do with that, and he did a great job. Without exception, every one of the breeders with a “Parci-foal,” as they’ve dubbed them, has remarked on their foals’ excellent temperament, trainability, and people-loving personality. Besides his amazing dependability, Parcival loves to be admired. He will pose for photographs all day long. We did a photo shoot for two hours at Diamante Farm when I boarded there, and never needed to do anything to get him to put his ears up and stand alert. He loves cameras! I have also started teaching lessons on him. He is super— he never gets frustrated or angry with the student, but he won’t do something if you don’t ask the right way.
