Community Partner Continues Investment in Health Care Education

The PHSC Foundation received a generous gift from the Hernando Healthcare Foundation( HHF) to purchase health program equipment for North Campus, as well as provide matching funds for the Florida Blue Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and the First Generation Matching Grant. This generous contribution, along with HHF’ s established scholarship funds, will provide over $ 85,000 in scholarship support during the 2025-26 academic year.
Since 2010, HHF has donated more than $ 1.1 million to support health programs at PHSC. Over the past 15 years, their extraordinary commitment has helped more than 700 students achieve their educational and professional goals, empowering them to focus on their studies, complete their training and transition successfully into the health care workforce.
The Foundation is deeply grateful for HHF’ s continued partnership and unwavering dedication to advancing health care education. Their generosity is transforming lives, strengthening families and building a healthier future for our community.
