A Special Tribute to Service and Sacrifice
PHSC hosted a powerful Fallen Officers Dedication Ceremony on November 17, 2025, honoring fallen officers in Pasco and Hernando counties. Held at the PHSC East Campus Public Service Technology Building in Dade City, the event served as a permanent tribute to the law enforcement heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
The central highlight of the event was the dedication of Captain Charles“ Bo” Harrison’ s patrol car and the installation of a new memorial plaque. Serving as the central hub of PHSC’ s Eric Hall, Ed. D., PHSC President, delivering Law Enforcement Academy, the remarks in front of Captain Charles“ Bo” Harrison’ s patrol car at the East Campus
College’ s East Campus prepares, trains and evaluates the next generation of law enforcement professionals. President Hall noted that“ as we honor the memory of these fallen officers, we also reaffirm our commitment to preparing the next generation of law enforcement professionals with the values of integrity, service and leadership.” By integrating this memorial on campus, PHSC honors the legacy of fallen officers while inspiring future law enforcement professionals to carry that legacy of leadership into the community they will one day serve and protect.

Welcoming Newly Appointed District Board of Trustees Member
Toni Zetzsche, Ph. D.
In December 2025, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Toni Zetzsche, Ph. D., to the PHSC District Board of Trustees( DBOT). Currently serving as the Chief Communications and Community Engagement Officer for Pasco County Schools, Zetzsche is deeply rooted in the community. Additionally, she is an active member of the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce, the Council for Exceptional Children and the Pasco County Commission on the Status of Women. Serving as a Pasco County representative, Zetzsche brings a wealth of community and leadership experience to the board and PHSC is eager to collaborate with her during her tenure.
