Legacy : Highlighting Dr . Timothy Beard ’ s Achievements as President .
PHSC Fundraising — Under Beard ’ s leadership , PHSC ’ s operating budget has increased by 72 %. Foundation assets have increased 40 %. Beard has personally raised several hundred thousand dollars for student scholarships .

New Construction — During Beard ’ s presidency , PHSC constructed and opened the College ’ s sixth location . The $ 18 million Instructional Performing Arts Center ( IPAC ) in Wesley Chapel offers programs in music , dance , theater and multi-media design . Partnering with Pasco Fire and Rescue , PHSC plans to construct a new $ 5 million Burn Center and Fire Academy at the East Campus ( EC ) in Dade City . The EC will also house the future STEM Student Success and Community Engagement Center with a projected $ 25 million budget .
The $ 20 million , award-winning IPAC , which opened in 2021 in Wesley Chapel , offers exciting programs in the arts .

Community Partnerships — In Hernando County , PHSC has established a Corporate College at the Dr . Dennis Wilfong Center for Success at the Brooksville- Tampa Bay Regional Airport . The Corporate College collaborates with industry partners to provide career and technical training for in-demand , skilled , higherpaying positions within PHSC ’ s service region .
