Attend PHSC 50th Anniversary Campus Celebrations
To celebrate five decades of service to our district , PHSC will host FREE celebrations and open houses at each of our six locations . Each celebration will offer campus tours , entertainment , food , activities and giveaways . Information about College programs , financial aid , scholarships and student activities will be available . Application fees for admission to PHSC will be waived for prospective students in attendance .
Saturday , November 5 , 2022 West Campus , New Port Richey 10 a . m . -2 p . m . • Quad Enjoy a fun , fall festival vibe with music from DJ Jose Nix , a photobooth , activities , food , treats , goodie bags for children and a casual mile-long walk on the tree-lined Mrs . Prameela Musunuru Trail circling the campus . Timed to coincide with National Family Caregivers Month , the event will also honor caregivers who provide loving support to comfort elderly and ill people . Vendors will provide information on community resources to find and support caregivers .
Saturday , February 25 , 2023 Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch Wesley Chapel 11 a . m . -1 p . m . View a unique exhibit of Florida Highwaymen Painters ’ collection , also learn more about the origins of Florida Community Colleges . Enjoy food , children ’ s activities , face painting and more . The event , scheduled during Black History Month , will highlight the Magnificent Twelve , exploring African American medical innovations during campus tours of our state-of-the-art Nursing Program facilities .
Saturday , February 25 , 2023 Instructional Performing Arts Center ( IPAC ) Wesley Chapel 5 p . m . -7 p . m . Enjoy a magical evening featuring music and entertainment and tour our theater , dance , music and digital design programs . Coinciding with Black History Month , PHSC is partnering with the University of South Florida Jazz Under The Starz project to pay tribute to the rich history of Florida ’ s African American entertainers and Tampa ’ s famous Jackson House entertainers . Light refreshments will be served .
Saturday , March 18 , 2023 North Campus , Brooksville 10 a . m . -2 p . m . A carnival setting featuring “ fair food ,” a bounce house , games , prizes and music make this event family-friendly . Hosted during Women ’ s History Month , a panel discussion will feature the countless contributions made by courageous women throughout the ages . Learn more about campus academics and workforce programs and enjoy tours and demonstrations .
Saturday , April 1 , 2023 Spring Hill Campus 10 a . m . -2 p . m . In addition to entertainment provided by local theater and dance groups , learn about new Spring Hill Campus programs and enjoy campus tours and demonstrations . Visit the student art exhibit and butterfly garden and attend presentations about Florida sustainability and gardening . Free native Florida plant seeds will be distributed .
The East Campus 50th Anniversary event , held on September 17 , 2022 , celebrated the College ’ s five decades of service with a Hispanic Heritage Month theme . FALL 2022 19
