Carol McCormick
1989
Carol McCormick ( Collins ), Port Richey , graduated from Gulf High School in 1972 before becoming among the first student enrolled at then Pasco- Hernando Community College . Carol , owner of George ’ s Wholesale Tires , and her team were recently recognized by the Nature Coast Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals ( AFP ) as the 2020 Philanthropic Small Business of the Year Honoree for their ongoing support of the community . When Carol is not working or volunteering in the community , she enjoys crafting and spending time with her family .
Mike Freeman , Dade City , graduated with an Associate in Arts degree from Pasco-Hernando Community College in 1989 . After graduating , he continued his education at the University of South Florida where he graduated with an Economics degree . Shortly after graduation , Mike began his career in the insurance industry . He found his niche working with senior citizens and has parlayed that into a 27-year career in the Medicare Advantage industry . He has worked in many capacities within the industry , but always with a focus on sales and marketing . He currently works as the Staff Vice President of Marketing for a Fortune 500 company . Mike has remained in his home state of Florida where he maintains a residence in the Tampa Bay area with his wife , Jennifer ( also a Pasco-Hernando Community College graduate ). They have two adult children , Chelsey and Mike Jr .
