The name plate was a unique opportunity to celebrate my dad ’ s 70 th birthday while demonstrating my commitment to the Pasco-Hernando State College ( PHSC ) Foundation . The name plate tribute which reads “ Education Changes Lives ” is a belief that my father instilled in me as a child that I have found to be true as an adult . The knowledge that education changes lives is what guides my work as a college administrator . I truly appreciate the role the Foundation plays in supporting students and am so excited and happy that I was able to honor my Dad while supporting PHSC .
