FOUNDATION NEWS T he PHSC Foundation and The Musunuru Family presented the Bash at the Ranch, Saturday, April 1. Hosts Ted and Avis Phillips opened their home, the 4G+1 Ranch, to PHSC supporters, staff and students for the annual fundraiser. Attendees enjoyed a beautiful evening on the 4G+1 Ranch including a chef prepared dinner, music from Pete Hunt & The Southern Branded Band and a live auction featuring a Martin & Co. guitar autographed by Nashville recording artist and Apopka native John Anderson. The evening’s true winners were PHSC students. Proceeds from the event reached nearly $22,000, which will provide multiple PHSC student scholarships. Previous Bash at the Ranch events have established scholarship endowments honoring Ted and Avis Phillips, The Porter Family, and PHSC President Emerita Katherine M. Johnson. FALL 2017 9
