PHSC athletic teams are ready to show their mascot and school pride with the new Bobcat Spirit
Brand displayed on new uniforms and spirit gear. “While the cross country and volleyball teams gear
up for the fall season, our cheer team will get the crowds roaring with Bobcat pride,” said Winterling.
Spring sports—baseball, softball and basketball—also will incorporate the new spirit branding in
practice and game uniforms. And, the gymnasium will boast a Bobcat presence. “Soon, students
will know that PHSC is Bobcat Country,” said Winterling. Submissions for the name of PHSC Bobcat
were accepted through the summer. The mascot committee will review all the name submissions and
make a final determination on the winning mascot name that will be announced at All College Day, the
staff and faculty professional in-service event in October.
