Leaving a Legacy
The Foundation has recently been the recipient of several generous legacy gifts that will positively impact the lives of PHSC students for years to come.
In memory of Joel H. Goldberg, D. M. D., local Pasco County dentist and PHSC Foundation Honorary Board Member, the Joel H. Goldberg Memorial Scholarship was recently established to support PHSC students. Goldberg served on the PHSC Foundation Board from 1995 until 2000, when he was nominated to be an Honorary Board Member. Throughout his years of service, he was a passionate advocate for higher education and a dedicated supporter of PHSC.
In 2007, Harvey and Mary Snell gifted the Foundation land near the West Campus, which was recently sold. Proceeds from the sale will financially assist students through the Harvey and Mary Snell Scholarship, a fund they established in 1987. Over 35 years later, their generosity and commitment to higher education is continuing to provide educational opportunities for students at PHSC.
The Harry F. Kupferer Memorial Scholarship was also recently established by Harry’ s brother James Kupferer. This scholarship will support students pursuing a career in the computer software field.

The PHSC Foundation extends its deepest gratitude to all donors whose contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and the community.
