Diamond View Studios, LLC recently provided $14,500 of in-kind video production for the PHSC Foundation. Since 2012, Diamond View Studios, LLC has donated over $25,000 of complementary services to the College. Their Chief Executive Officer, Tim Moore, the 2016 PHSC Distinguished Alumni Award recipient recently held two book signing events at PHSC campuses for his publication, Sold On Purpose. students who traditionally do not qualify for financial aid. Since 2011, the Fund has donated $420,000 to support PHSC students in need. The local chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma continued their investment in higher education with a generous donation designated to the Dr. Marion Bullock/Delta Gamma Kappa - Key Women Educators Scholarship. This annual scholarship provides financial assistance to west Pasco female students pursing a degree in education. Continual PHSC supporter, Suncoast Credit Union Foundation recently provided a gift of $25,000. Their generosity will provide funding for the First Generation Matching Grant Program, the Suncoast Credit Union Foundation Annual Scholarship and provisions to the PHSC Support Our Students Fund. Michelle Bullwinkel, Director of Alumni and Donor Relations, Tim Moore, Lisa Richardson, Ed.D., Associate Vice President of Alumni and College Relations/Executive Director of the Foundation With the passing of Donald K. Vierling, MD, who served on the PHSC Foundation Board for more than 30 years, many community members donated in his honor. Over 15 gifts provided $8,075 in contributions to the Dr. Donald K. and Kim Vierling Nursing Scholarship Fund. Sylvia Huhtanen continued her generous support through a $10,000 gift designated to the Next Step Endowed Scholarship. Over 30 PHSC students have benefited from this scholarship since 2014 with $24,550 in scholarship support. A donation from Alfred and Jeanette Boyer was received in support of the Ken Boyer Memorial Scholarship. This gift will support First Generation in College students during the 2020-21 academic year. The Wells Fargo Foundation provided a $10,000 grant in support of the Support Our Students (SOS) Emergency Fund. Their donation will provide support for PHSC students and their families negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Rotary Club of Brooksville donated $2,000 toward the Dr. Richard Trump - Rotary Club of Brooksville Scholarship. The generous organization and community partner have to date, provided $65,400 toward student scholarships. Established in 1997, the Brooksville Garden Club Scholarship has been annually supporting students at PHSC. The community organization recently provided $500 to their fund elevating their lifetime support to $11,800. The medical staff at the Medical Center of Trinity recently provided $10,000 designated to PHSC nursing scholarships. In memory of Dr. Donald Vierling, a gift of $5,000 was made to the Dr. Donald K. and Kim Vierling Nursing Scholarship. The additional $5,000 donation was made in memory of Dr. Juan Garcia. The Foundation recently received a $40,000 grant from the Edward K. Roberts Community College Fund through the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, Inc. The gift will provide aid to FALL 2020 29
