WOMEN’S CONFERENCE CELEBRATES EMPOWERMENT AND FUNDS STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS The PHSC Foundation staff was honored to attend the Empowered! PHSC Women in Education Conference 2020—Ignite the Trail. The inaugural event provided a day of workshops, presentations and panel discussion dedicated to inspire and motivate through personal and professional capacities. During the lunch presentation, Lisa Richardson, Ed.D., Associate Vice President of Alumni and College Relations/Foundation Executive Director graciously accepted four scholarship donations from event sponsors. Gifts were received from Dell Technologies, Software and Management Associates, Campus Management and the Pasco County Commission on the Status of Women. Sales from raffle tickets provided an additional funding to generate an additional $2,000 in scholarship support from the event.
