PORTER CAMPUS HOSTS RUN TO RAISE MONEY
FOR VETERAN SCHOLARSHIPS
he Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch recently
hosted the Honor Run 5K. College staff, faculty
and students worked to facilitate the event to
honor community military veterans and support veteran
scholarships at Pasco-Hernando State College. The
successful fundraiser welcomed community supporters
and running enthusiasts to the Porter Campus. “The
Honor Run 5K was an incredible experience that
brought together our community to support the men
and women who have sacrificed so much for our
freedom,” said Kevin O’Farrell, Ph.D., Porter Campus
at Wiregrass Ranch Provost. “Together we were able
to celebrate their service and remember their sacrifice
all while raising needed scholarship funds for veteran
students at PHSC. We are truly indebted to them.”
