UPDATE
ECYCLE WITH EDUTECH
This year was the E-Learning and Instructional
Technology’s seventh annual EduTech Conference.
The theme for the conference was “ECycle”: Reuse,
Small group learning
activities provided
opportunities to develop
ways to eCycle by reusing,
repurposing and remixing.
Repurpose, and Remix. Faculty and staff who attended
were challenged to take a look at their digital recycling
bin, to see what they could repurpose for their
classroom either face-to-face or online.
The event included an Interactive E-Learning
Experience, which required conference participants
to B.Y.O.D. (Bring Your Own Device). This experience
was facilitated by the E-Learning Center at Florida
Atlantic University’s Mary Rotundo and Judy Somers,
Ed.D. Conference attendees had to work together to
brainstorm ideas to update their teaching practice. The
day continued with many more learning experiences, as
well as, a delicious lunch provided by Boomer’s Bistro.
Everyone who attended enjoyed the day!
Boomer the Bobcat made
a special appearance at
EduTech.
