FOUNDATION NEWS PUTTING THE FUN IN FUNDRAISING! T he Foundation sponsored two fundraising events this past spring. The sporting clays tournament was held in January at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays. Presenting sponsors, Creative Contractors and Harvard Jolly Architecture, welcomed seventy participants to the third annual event. The Harvard Jolly Architecture team, including Ben Marshall, Phillip Trezza, Emmet Van Aken, and Jim Wiggers took first place. Second Place team trophies were distributed to Kevin Almengual, Frank Garcia, David Leon, and Scott Walker Greg Lenners, PHSC, and Phillip Trezza, Harvard Jolly representing Tom Barrow Company. Architecture. Amanda Weitknecht, Skanska USA Building, took home the award for top female participant, while Eric DeSmet, Cox Fire Protection, and Scott Heidt, Creative Contractors Inc., tied for top male score. SAVE THE DATE 4 th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament Friday, February 1, 2019 6 PHSC Perspective April saw the Foundation host the twelfth annual catch and release fishing tournament. PHSC sponsors enjoyed a beautiful day on the Gulf while supporting the college’s students and staff. Congratulations to the winners from this year’s event: 1 st Place, Braden Erdmann, Sunrise Landscape; 2 nd Place, Brian Horn, Walbridge; 3 rd Place, Sheri Shay, Tampa Bay Trane; Largest Redfish, Mike Malkiski, Blume Mechanical; Largest Snook, Bob Larkin, TECO; and Largest Trout, Ray Gadd, Harvard Jolly Architecture/Creative Contractors, Inc.
