Since the College ’ s establishment in 1972 , nearly 60,000 graduates have earned their degree or certification from Pasco-Hernando State College . Counted among PHSC alumni are educators , welders , health care providers , attorneys , law enforcement officers , engineers and many other professions .
In celebration of PHSC ’ s 50 years of service , the spring 2023 issue of Perspective showcased the “ 50 Faces of PHSC ”, featuring outstanding alumni whose immeasurable contributions continue to make a difference throughout the community .
PHSC ’ s influence is reflected in the accomplishments of our alumni-60,000 strong and growing !

When asked what it meant to be a graduate of PHSC , Dr . Heidi Sievers (‘ 12 ), who was featured in the “ 50 Faces of PHSC ,” said , “ Being a PHSC alumna means having the skills and abilities to professionally soar .
