SCHOLARSHIPS
During the 2020-2021 academic year the Foundation awarded $ 1,219,265 scholarships to 936 deserving students . Of those scholarships , the Michael J . Skarupa and M . Frances Skarupa Scholarship provided financial support to 18 students enrolled in health programs totaling $ 19,350 .
“ Receiving the Michael J . Skarupa and M . Frances Skarupa Scholarship provided me with such relief as I was not sure how I was going to pay for the next term . I have a lot of hope and faith though and this support came at the perfect time . I have dreams of becoming a nurse practitioner and I appreciate the help I have received to make these dreams come true for me . This scholarship has allowed me to continue to be a great example to my four young boys . I will forever be thankful and remember this when I am sharing my story with others . “
