We are pleased to present you with the 2019 PHSC Foundation annual report . The publication allows us to express our gratitude to our Friends of the Foundation . Each year , the financial need for scholarships and programmatic support becomes ever more important !
During the 2019-2020 academic year , the PHSC Foundation provided 956 students with $ 1,150,000 in scholarship funding - the largest awarding in the Foundation ’ s 40-year history .

Additionally , the members of the Board of the Hardy Benevolent Trust Fund , Inc . presented the PHSC Foundation with the largest matching challenge ever - a $ 425,000 matching opportunity ; hence , the $ 1 Million Nursing Scholarship Challenge was created . With the help of many of our friends and community leaders , the Challenge exceeded the goal - raising over $ 1 million for nursing student scholarships !
The PHSC Foundation also provided $ 642,000 to the College for staff and program development . These contributions provide significant support for faculty / staff professional development and relevant program equipment and technology essential to the advancement of student learning .
